Party FAQ's

Where is the party venue?

Kids Stop hosts parties at two locations:

Kids Stop Edinburgh
36 Morningside Road, Edinburgh, EH10 4DA

Kids Stop Peebles
27 Northgate, Peebles, Scottish Borders

Your confirmation email will confirm which location your party is booked at.

How many children can I invite?

Our parties are designed for 8 children.

Minimum: 6 children
Maximum: 12 children

All parties are suitable for children aged 5 years and over. If you would like to invite additional children,
please let us know in advance so we can prepare the space and materials.

How many adults can attend the party?

Due to space limitations, we ask that a maximum of two adults attend the party.

This helps keep the space safe and comfortable for the children taking part.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive 5 minutes before your party start time so we can welcome the children and begin the
activities.

Can we bring food or a birthday cake?

We provide juice and popcorn for the children during the party.

You are welcome to bring a birthday cake if you would like to sing Happy Birthday.

We will sing Happy Birthday and the cake can then be cut and taken home for guests to enjoy later.

If you would like to bring party bags, you are welcome to bring these along.

Please note that hot food is not permitted in the party area.

Do you supply party invites?

We do not currently supply party invitations. Parents are welcome to create their own invitations and
include the party details provided in their booking confirmation.

Can I cancel or reschedule my party?

If you need to reschedule your party, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to
move your booking to another available date.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable, but we may be able to transfer your booking to another
date if sufficient notice is given.

Can I change the number of children attending?

Yes, you can adjust the number of children attending.

Please let us know 5–7 days before the party so we can prepare the correct materials and space.

Our parties include 8 children, with a minimum charge for 8 children and a maximum of 12 children.
Additional children are £10 per child.

What happens if a child cannot attend?

If a child is unable to attend on the day of the party, the party price will remain the same.

This is because materials, staffing and preparation are organised in advance based on the number of
children booked.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is paid on the day of the party and can be paid by cash or card.

If you would prefer to make the payment online in advance, please contact us and we can arrange this for
you. This can make leaving the party easier without distractions.

What do I need to bring?

We provide all materials needed for the activities, along with juice and popcorn for the children.

You may wish to bring:

• A birthday cake

• Candles

• Party bags (optional)
